For over a decade, I've had an on-again/off-again love affair with the idea of having own own web-presence. I've come up with countless incarnations of my "ideal web site," only to abandon it due to a lack of interest, lack of time, or lack of motivation. In the end, I realized a few things about myself and my work ethic, where it relates to maintaining a web site. First, I don't have the dedication or the discipline to maintain a formal and serious web-blog, such as daily-kos or Huffington Post. Secondly, to protect the privacy or those I care about, I don't want to broadcast every minute detail of my life. Lastly, I want my web-presence to further my participation in my online activities, discussions, and activism in the larger sense.
